Approach to Information 

We believe that information empowers and that access to information is a fundamental human right. With accurate and comprehensive information people are able to make the best decisions about their own lives and how they engage with the world around them.

Global Education Pedagogy 

Global Education is a pedagogy that helps people understand their lives in the context of contemporary global issues, developing the skills and knowledge to become effective, informed global citizens.  Global Education recognises that a more sustainable and just world is possible, and it cultivates abilities for achieving that world.

Library and website content 

The key focus of our library collection is development and global issues. We take a broad and holistic definition of development, recognising the complexity and changing nature of issues involved in social, cultural, spiritual and economic development.

Global Focus Aotearoa will not pass on your personal information to any persons, organisations or companies. Global Focus Aotearoa will not use your personal details for any purposes other than those outlined in the registration form.

Terms and conditions

We work hard to make our website relevant, accurate and ethical. Please read these terms and conditions on using and contributing to our website.  Breaching these conditions will result in the user being barred from registration.

Work database information and terms and conditions

It is free for all organisations and individuals to receive our fortnightly Work email and to search our online Work Database.

Global Focus Aotearoa charges for-profit organisations and most governments to advertise on the Development Work Database. It is free for not-for-profit, non governmental organisations to submit work.
